Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry, Chipoka Mulenga, this morning met with the new members of the Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) Board which was unveiled on 29th December, 2022.

The Board which is led by Professor Biemba Maliti as Board Chairperson has been tasked to offer strategic oversight on the operations of the Agency in a professional manner in line with Government’s aspirations.

Mr. Mulenga says that Government is confident that the new Board has the competence, expertise and experience to propel the agency to greater heights as it discharges its multifaceted mandate of promoting and facilitating investment, trade and business development.

And Board Chairperson, Professor Biemba Maliti, says he is happy with the team that has been put together and is confident that each individual is equal to the task.

Professor Maliti also thanked the Minister on behalf of the Board for the opportunity to serve on the ZDA Board.

ZDA conducted an induction for the New Board on 17th and 18th January, 2023 which focused on highlighting the functions of the Agency and according the new Board members and management a training in Corporate Governance.
