
Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry, Chipoka Mulenga yesterday afternoon met with the New Board of Commissioners of the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC).
The Minister indicated to them that the Commission is very vital to the development of the economy as it relates to safeguarding competition in the economy and protecting consumers from unfair trading.
He encouraged the Board to execute their duties to the nation with diligence, professionalism and commitment as their duty is to serve.
And the Board Chairperson, Mrs. Angela Kafunda, on behalf of the Board thanked the Minister for the opportunity and said that they are equal to the task and are ready to serve the nation.
