The Campaign is open to all sectors of the Zambian economy. Any enterprise that produces a good or supplies a service can apply for membership. The enterprise must be locally registered and meet our compliance criteria to ensure quality.

Membership is subject to application and subsequent approval. Interested companies can contact the Campaign Secretariat via email: pzc@zam.co.zm or apply through the website.

Unauthorised use of the logo is prohibited and is an exclusive right of accredited members of the Campaign. The PZC logo is fully patented, and anyone found illegally using the logo is at risk of being legally charged.

Yes. The Proudly Zambian logo and phrase can be used by artists, schools, farms, saloons and other arts or service providers who have gone through the application and vetting process for quality check. This is to ensure that only quality work is associated with Proudly Zambian both locally and internationally.  

The Proudly Zambian Campaign (PZC) is the official buy-local Campaign of the Government of Zambia and is focused on quality. The Campaign sits under the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry (MCTI) and is run by the Zambia Association of Manufacturers (ZAM).

Passionate and patriotic individuals can share the work of the Proudly Zambian Campaign on various media platforms and volunteer to raise awareness.

All applications are vetted by the National Steering Committee (NSC) and are finally approved by the Permanent Secretary – Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry.

Upon submission of application documents, the Secretariat vets the application and may accord preliminary approval within 3-5 working days. At the close of every quarter, all applications are submitted to the Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry for final approval.
