1.   Rights to use the Official PZC Logo and Trademark 

The Government of Zambia patented the Official PZC logo and registered the ‘Proudly Zambian’ trademark with the Patents and Companies Registration Agency (PACRA). Therefore, use of the logo and Proudly Zambian trademark without due authorisation by the Campaign secretariat is illegal. As a fully subscribed member you have the rights to brand your products with the PZC logo and Proudly Zambian trademark.

2.     Quality Assurance

All products registered under the Campaign undergo a vigorous vetting system to ensure that the products meet the highest standards, comply with all necessary regulations and are well-packaged. Therefore, successfully registering your products under the Campaign gives the customer confidence in your products.

3.     Marketing Opportunities

Companies registered under the Campaign benefit from a wide range of marketing opportunities which include media coverage, participation in exhibitions, advertising in the MCTI and ZAM Newsletter and Proudly Zambian Catalogue, as well as other advertising avenues.

4.     Business and Market Linkages Opportunities

The Campaign works closely with supermarket chain stores, mining houses and government departments under the Local Content Advocacy Initiative (LCAI). Under the LCAI, the Campaign facilitates personal interactions between local producers and providers of services with top executives and procurement heads of supermarkets, mining houses, other manufacturers and government departments that promote the creation and sustenance of business linkages.

5.     Business Development Services

Different organizations provide technical support to the Campaign members such as the Zambia Bureau of Standards (ZABS) for the development and certification of standards, the Zambia Metrology Agency (ZMA) for packaging, labeling, and weight measures, and Patents and Companies Registration Agency (PACRA) for any intellectual property accreditation as well as financial support. Therefore, PZC members enjoy exclusive access to business development and funding opportunities. Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) for export Readiness support.

6.     Policy Advocacy

Lobbying for policies geared towards developing companies under the Campaign is provided through policy advocacy services to members, to address the policy challenges that affect their businesses.

7.     Recognition

The Campaign awards PZC companies for making important strides in their businesses. One such award is the Local Content Champion Award which is a recognition award for a company that demonstrates commitment to local sourcing, quality, and supporting the development of regional value chains. This Award is presented at the Quality Awards usually graced by the Vice President of Zambia.
